The Black Digital Humanities Lab
The Black Digital Humanities Lab is an interdisciplinary and international community-based research partnership designed to understand ethical and creative uses of technology to promote historical consciousness and public knowledge. Premised on the understanding that Black Digital Humanities can allow us to “forge new paths [and] examine, construct, and reimagine innovative communities and people"
(Prince & Messina, 2022), the goal of this lab is to help foster more Black Digital Humanists through experimental project-based learning and programming both in and outside the classroom.
